Project Overview
Barkin’ is an online pet shop offering thoughtfully designed collars, leashes, pouches, and slow feeders. As the brand grew, their social media presence struggled to keep up. They needed a clear content plan, a cohesive visual direction, and consistent posting to stay top-of-mind for pet owners.

I partnered with Barkin’ to design their social content and build a full social media calendar that supported their goals and matched their brand personality.
Goal
The goal was to create a social presence that truly represented Barkin’s playful, pet-friendly identity while helping them stay consistent and organized. This meant building a plan that would drive engagement, simplify content creation, and allow the team to focus on growing the business.
The Challenge
Although Barkin’ had quality products and a strong brand story, their social media lacked structure. They were:
  • Posting inconsistently
  • Operating without a content plan or calendar
  • Falling behind on designing new content
They needed a system, one that simplified their workflow and created clarity on what to post, when, and why.
Solution
I created a complete social media system tailored to Barkin’s needs, designing on-brand, visually cohesive posts that highlighted their products, values, and pet-friendly lifestyle. I also built a clear social media calendar outlining posting frequency and content themes, along with a supporting social media plan that defined content pillars and tone of voice, giving the Barkin’ team a structured foundation to manage their social presence with confidence.
